Meet the Designer
Hi, I'm Annabel, the designer behind ROEN Studio.
I build brands for ambitious businesses that are ready to be seen, understood and remembered. From the big idea to the logo, website and everything in between, I bring the pieces together to make your business feel like itself, at its best.
My Story
I’m a brand designer, enthusiastic hiker, lover of colour and art, and slightly unreasonable about good coffee. If there’s a new café with a good espresso on the menu, I will probably find it.
I grew up between Germany and New Zealand, studied fine art before completing a Bachelor of Graphic Design, and have spent the last seven years working across agencies, in-house teams and my own studio.
I work across branding, web design and everything that sits around them. I love the variety of it, one project might be about building a brand from the ground up, another might be figuring out why an existing identity no longer fits, and another might be bringing the whole thing together online.
I’m very much a designer at heart, but I’ve always liked the problem-solving side just as much as the visual side. I'm a little obsessed with getting to the heart of a problem, finding the idea that makes sense and then figuring out how to make it work across all the brand systems.
ROEN is a small studio built around that kind of work. I feel very lucky to have built a career around something I love. I get to spend my days solving problems, making things, working with interesting people and seeing ideas go from a scribble on paper to something that exists in the real world.
That’s what ROEN is about. Good work, good people and building brands with depth.
